Position Title: Bar Buena Cocktail Server

The Concept

Bar Buena, Goode Company’s newest concept, is a hidden agave sanctuary adjacent to Kitchen and Cantina River Oaks that offers an intimate retreat for exceptional cocktails and authentic Mexican spirits. Rooted in the artistry of tequila and mezcal-making, we take pride in our 100% additive-free agave spirit program, serving as true ambassadors of Mexico’s rich traditions.

Position

As a Cocktail Server, you will be the face of our bar experience, providing polished service with personality and professionalism. You will guide guests through our curated selection of agave spirits and house-crafted cocktails, ensuring each visit feels personal and memorable. This role is perfect for someone who is knowledgeable about spirits—especially tequila and mezcal—and thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (not limited to):

• Verify identification of guests to comply with TABC regulations
• Facilitate the satisfying exchange of food and cash in a speedy manner, including a good working knowledge of prices & quantity
• Handle money in a careful manner on a regular basis & properly handle credit transactions
• Present a professional appearance and proper behavior, including well-kept clothing & hygiene and courteous, attentive language
• Make Manager aware of any messages, customer complaints, or perceived front-line problems
• Perform any other work-related duties specified by manager
• Be an extension of the bar through all offerings and menu knowledge, techniques, and service.
  
  

Qualifications

• TABC Certified
• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
• One year of relevant experience
• Must be able to speak and read English, Spanish a plus
• Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
• Able to work days, evenings/late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
