Our busy rooftop bar and lounge is seeking a dynamic cocktail server with a cheerful guest‑service attitude to set the tone for our premier cocktail bar. We expect this role to ensure that guests are greeted promptly, served in a timely manner, and be able to maintain a clean and inviting space. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor and works efficiently to serve multiple guests at a time. Providing exceptional customer service with a teamwork philosophy is a must! Responsibilities

• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Attend all pre‑shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
• Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions
• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations

Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction
• Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple orders and guest interactions simultaneously
• Must have evening and weekend availability
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately, safeguarding against transaction errors

Compensation

$5.50 - $35 hourly
