Job summary

Airgas, a leading supplier in welding and gas technologies, seeks a Cobot Specialist for the North Region to grow BotX/cobot rentals, leases and sales. You will own end-to-end installations, training, and customer support, collaborating with Red-D-Arc and Airgas partners to expand cross-sell opportunities.

You will train field teams, drive channel growth in met-fab environments, and maximize Cobots adoption while maintaining safety standards and delivering total solutions to customers.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education equivalent to bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in automation or weld process sales; rental experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive rental/lease/sales growth for BotX and cobots with Red-D-Arc and Airgas partners.
  • Train and support customers, lead installations and demonstrations.
  • Build relationships with regional sales teams and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Expand sales channels in metal fabrication and welding production environments.

The incumbent is required to follow up on sales leads, build strong relationships with regional sales teams and supporting Airgas partners, making effective presentations/demonstrations, own the install process-training-customer support for cobots, and lead cross training initiatives targeting Red-D-Arc & Airgas WPS to enhance and grow cobot service model.Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.Expands current BotX sales channels as well as collaborating with Airgas partners to develop and grow new sales channels in met-fab and welding production environments.Drive awareness and energize sales organization engagement around BotX/Cobots for expanding RDA’s met-fab footprint.Responsible for training RDA field sales teams and Airgas Adv. Fab Specialists to understand our capabilities and identify opportunities to grow BotX/Cobot rentals/leases/sales.Initiates, grows, and tightens alignments with all Red-D-Arc Sales Leaders, Airgas Advanced Fab Team, and Airgas Regional Companies for purposes of reinforcing priority around BotX & Cobot sales.Work with Airgas Advanced Fabrication teams and Account Mgrs to package gas/wire needs w/cobot opportunities for purposes of capturing share gain and delivering total solutions.Owns Bot X/Cobot installation, training, and customer support.Territory growth plans and target potential customers & leads.Disciplined use of CRM and other sales resources to note customer activities.________________________Are you a MATCH?Required:Post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.Greater than five years sales experience in Automation and/or Weld Process Sales (rental experience preferred).Leadership: Must be able to guide, mentor, and influence associates.Decision Making: Must be able to work independently while making decisions based on company policies and objectives.Problem Solving: Must be able to proactively and methodically deal with conflicting goals and challenging situations.Preferred:Strong Background in all welding processes with special emphasis on cobots and automation.Certifications such as CWI, CWE, CRAW, CWS, NCCER instructorStrong technical, oral and writing skills as well as strong interpersonal and management skills.Communicates with clarity, verbally in one on one or group situations, and over the telephone________________________BenefitsWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
