Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives across the United States. We are currently seeking a COBOL Programmer to join our team.

Summary:

• Client Agency: Department Logistics Agency.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust level clearance (U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Research and document user requirements; analyze objectives and problems; translate system designs into detailed program specifications; assist with documentation, program design, modification, testing, and reporting on system software.

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust level clearance (U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in system development with COBOL, specifically with scheduling and time and attendance systems.
• 2+ years assisting with management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferences:

• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or above.
