American Operations Corporation seeks a Senior Legacy Systems Engineer to lead modernization of legacy IMDS/IMDS-MSM components and sustainment workflows. You will analyze, decompose, and refactor legacy capabilities while preserving stability and synchronization across enterprise processes.

You will evaluate modernization candidates, manage sequencing risks, and support API modernization, ensuring safe coexistence between legacy and modernized components. DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of legacy application support.
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting mission-critical operational systems.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate modernization candidates and sequencing risks.
• Support API modernization and coexistence between legacy and modernized components.
• Assist migration of tightly coupled legacy workflows into modern architectures.
• Collaborate with System Architect, Enterprise Integration Lead, and Product Owners to avoid disruptions to maintenance scheduling and operations.
