• Document Business Flow based on technical analysis.

Job Title: COBOL Engineers

Location: Monterey Park // LA-CA

Duration: 1 year

Main Duties and Responsible:

• Analyzes Cobol systems of existing production DDA (Demand Deposit Account) application
• Documents Technical Specifications including data dictionary, Process diagram
• Documents Business Flow at a high level based on the technical analysis

Expected Required Skill:

• Ability to understand Cobol codes of active production system
• Must be familiar with relational database concepts
• Ability to locate the relevant objects and pull the objects, analyze and document
• Ability to copy the production code and related objects to test system and simulate the function to validate the analysis is correct.
• Ability to document the technical documentation in English
• Ability to work on projects with general direction and guidance
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Some business travel required

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's computer information systems degree or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years related work experience, Financial Service industry experience preferred
• Strong Cobol knowledge and working knowledge of Core Banking Systems
• Strong SQL knowledge and working knowledge of relational database systems
