Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Technician in the Upholstery department in Tennessee. You will prep and assemble plastic substrate parts used in boat interiors, following quality standards and safety rules. Duties include sanding, grinding, trimming, stapling, forming, and routing on varied plastic parts.
The role requires ability to read build instructions, operate power and hand tools safely, and work in a fast-paced production environment with overtime as needed.
Supply internal/external customer with quality plastic substrate parts used for building complex interiors in our boats.

General knowledge of operating power tools and hand tools safely; must be able to read and execute build instruction from work orders;
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
