At CableCom, as a Coax Splicer, you’ll splice, test, and repair cables & wires in both indoor and outdoor settings, read, create and maintain splicing diagrams, maintain activities surrounding the assigned work site(s), and take splicing field notes.

What You’ll Do As a Coax Splicer
  • Perform tasks related to the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable
  • Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
  • Conduct basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle: check fluids, clean and organize vehicle
  • Supervise operations to ensure all splicing work meets customer and industry standards
  • Safely operate bucket trucks for construction tasks, including pole climbing if required
  • Complete daily reports, mark-up maps, track work hours, and produce
