Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Corrosion Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, materials testing, coatings development, equipment maintenance, and data management in an industrial R&D environment. The Technician will start under close supervision and progressively gain independence as skills develop.

A hands-on, safety-conscious professional is required, with willingness to learn new techniques, instruments, and procedures for aerospace and military related projects.

• Hands-on, safety-conscious and detail-oriented, with willingness to learn new techniques, instruments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory safety procedures and environment guidelines.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of safety standards for an industrial lab.
• Operate and maintain standard laboratory test equipment and record results accurately.
• Archive, graph, and review laboratory data with metadata.
• Support preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and equipment servicing.
