- Position Summary:** The Coatings Material Handler is responsible for
sorting tank components, staging areas, and feeding the coating line.
Coatings Material Handler Duties And Responsibilities
- Organizing Material for Loaders
- Feeding the Paint Line with Available Work
- Works off Manifest per Schedule
- Sets Up Work for the Next Shift
- May perform other duties as assigned

- Forklift PMs
- Outside Staging Areas/Yard
Coatings Material Handler Skills And Specifications
- Ability to safely operate a fork truck
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and
memos.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Ability to contribute and work in a team environment.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure first
quality of work.
- Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with
people in the course of work.
- Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight
deadlines.
Coatings Material Handler Education And Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Coatings Material Handler Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of Coatings Material Handler, the employee
is continually required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or
feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance;
stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to
crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift
and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
