Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, Ohio, is seeking a Coatings Line Operator for the Metallizing department. This role ensures efficient operation of the plastic metalizing lines, monitors processes for quality, and maintains a clean, organized work area to support production goals.

Second shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with eligible shift differential. Benefits include health coverage from day one, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up the line per job card requirements and ensure continuous operation of machines.
• Monitor paint supply, mixture and replenishment during the shift.
• Inspect color, adhesion, and overall aesthetics for quality control.
• C lean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate line status and issues to team and ensure Take Off is supplied with parts.
• Keep the line organized and equipment properly stored.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting under supervision of Metallizing staff.
• Complete required parts, scrap, and paint usage paperwork.

Position: Coatings Line Operator

Location: New Albany, Ohio

Department: Metallizing

Reports to: Production Manager

Shift: Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Job Summary

This production floor position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the plastic metalizing lines. Monitors all steps in the metalizing process, resulting in overall product consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the shift.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for setting up the line per job card requirements, continuous operation of machines, and mixing and replenishment of paint supply.
• Communicates with team members regarding operating conditions, paint mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift.
• Continuously monitors each step of the metalizing process for quality of parts, and performs regular inspections of color, cross-hatching, adhesion, and aesthetic assessment.
• Cleans machines and performs preventative maintenance.
• Keeps production team informed throughout the shift on pertinent issues with the processes or parts that could affect production and ensures Take Off team is supplied with raw parts.
• Maintains a clean line, free of clutter. Stores equipment properly.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on the line under the direction of the Metalizing Technician and Process Engineering Technician.
• Properly completes required paperwork regarding parts produced, scrap, and paint consumption, and communicates all pertinent issues throughout shift.
• All other duties as assigned to support production.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to follow specific instructions for paint measurement and preparation.
• Computer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends.
• Ability to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously.
• Willing to take direction from others.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can successfully work in a team environment.
• Experience in industrial paint application a plus.

COMPENSATION: From $20.50. Second shift is eligible for shift differential as well.
