Job summary

Anchor Bay Powder Coat is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support timely customer orders by following production schedules, safety rules, and quality processes. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration in a fast-paced coatings environment.

Responsibilities include operating blast/paint booths and ovens, inspecting parts, and documenting results to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality coatings.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and participate in 6S and continuous improvement.
• Operate equipment including blast booths, paint booths, curing ovens, and material handling.
• Inspect and prepare parts by cleaning, masking, plugging, and staging per specs.
• Load and unload parts on racks or conveyors with proper alignment and safety.
• Follow work orders and blueprints to ensure coatings meet requirements.
• Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 by following procedures and documenting results.
• Communicate with team to coordinate workflow and resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per lean manufacturing culture.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in root cause problem solving to improve production flow.
• Contribute to a team-first environment with accountability and shared success.
• Remain flexible and assist in prepping/masking, blasting, loading/unloading, painting.
• Track production output and complete required documentation accurately.
• Maintain a customer-focused mindset with high-quality, on-time delivery.
