Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Edwardsville, KS, is seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidates to operate a Mill Machine and TPM activities, including weighing batches and mixing batches, with safety and quality as top priorities.

You will support Hockmeyer mill operation, run related equipment, maintain process data, and assist with TPM, maintenance, and repacks. A strong AM background and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• 3 months of related work experience.
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain machine to TPM standards.
• Learn and apply TPM knowledge daily.
• Weigh batches following process orders.
• Mix batches: discharge pigment and operate mixer safely.
• Operate Hockmeyer mill and maintain OEE.
• Create and maintain a database of formulas and processing times.
• Support canning, press out unit, pump filters, and forklift operation.
• Serve as QC liaison: provide ink samples, adjust inks, and record data.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot procedures.
• Assist with repacks.
