Axalta is seeking a Batch Maker for its Brighton, MI facility. The role focuses on producing high-quality coating products by following batch formulas, handling raw materials, and operating production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include weighing and mixing materials, completing batch records, and ensuring safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area. English fluency, physical ability to lift 55 lbs, and PPE compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write English required.
• Successful completion of a background check and physical examination
• Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPE
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials.
• Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete batch records and production documentation.
• Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
