Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group is seeking a Mix Coating Process Engineer to work with a cross-disciplinary team to scale up new designs and formulations into production. You will design and optimize coating processes, identify materials, and collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and program managers.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering and hands-on experience with web handling, roll-to-roll operations, and coatings technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required.
• Expertise in blending, particle dispersion, web coating and roll-to-roll equipment.
• Specialization in coating technology with working knowledge of web handling and roll-to-roll operations.
• Experience in chemicals/paint/food/preservatives manufacturers is highly relevant.
• Some knowledge in electrochemistry is highly desired.
• Design of experiments is desirable.
• VBA programming is a plus.
• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be heavily used.
• US citizens or green card holders required.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale-up of existing and upcoming coating processes.
• Identify, test and evaluate new materials for production.
• Collaborate with scientists, test engineers and program managers.
• Support cell design from concept through production.
