Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to support processing and repair of aerospace components. You will operate production equipment, prepare materials, and perform quality checks to meet strict customer and regulatory requirements.

This hands-on role will require attention to safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, masking stations, and brazing equipment.
  • Prepare, mix, and handle materials in accordance with work instructions and specifications.
  • Load and unload parts, components, and materials throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect products and components to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
  • Follow documented manufacturing processes, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support functions to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate production equipment including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, masking stations, and brazing equipment.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Nice to Have
  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience.
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
  • Experience working with aerospace, metal processing, coatings, heat treat, brazing, or similar manufacturing processes.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to industrial equipment, heat-generating processes, noise, and airborne particulates. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and safely lift and move materials as needed

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
