Job summary

Mactac North America is seeking a Coating Machine Operator I to support the production of pressure sensitive paper. The role focuses on machine operation, routine maintenance, and quality control to maintain smooth, efficient processes.

The position is on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) in Minneapolis, MN, with a starting wage of $21.00 per hour. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing operating experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong safety, attention to detail, problem solving, teamwork, math, communication, adaptability, stamina and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removal of rolls from the rewind station.
• Hang rolls and prepare splice at unwind as necessary.
• Ensure labels with lot and roll number are applied.
• Train on multiple coating equipment.
• Perform 5S activities and maintain tools.
• Support productivity and waste reduction efforts.
• Assist in monitoring deviations in materials and running conditions.
