Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to synthesize and formulate polymer coating materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and collaborating with operations and R&D teams.

The role conducts QC testing using FTIR, refractometer, durometer, viscometer and rheometer, participates in production quality audits, and applies Lean 6S to improve yield and reduce costs while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• Synthesis and formulation of polymer coating materials.

Responsibilities

• Coating Materials Synthesis and Preparation following work instructions and performance specs.

• Laboratory maintenance ensuring organized, clean, and efficient workspace.
• Documentation and reporting of activities with data integrity and compliance.
