Primary Objective:
Verify production orders, consume films in ME, bring films to the lines, stage films for a 24 hour production, remove extrusion waste to the dumpsters, housekeeping help at the extrusion area.

Major Function and Scope:

  1. Responsible for personal safety and participating in plant safety process.
  2. Enter data into ME and SAP.
  3. Inspect and monitor quality of processed material.
  4. Call for correct wear layer, and film rolls per production schedule in the ME system.
  5. Activate roll transfer from AGV to machine.
  6. Splice new roll into existing roll per standard operating procedure.
  7. Perform perfect splices every time.
  8. Adjust tensions as needed based on process.
  9. Setup core for new roll.
  10. Watch for and manage splice coming through machine.
  11. Activate / monitor roll or slab transfer from machine to AGV.
  12. Must follow the quality management system policy and procedures.
  13. Communicate production or quality issues to appropriate team members.
  14. Maintain a clean and efficient workstation.
  15. Assist with line changeovers.
  16. Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning in area.
  17. Operate lift truck, overhead crane, hoist. This will also include inspections and reporting of issues.
  18. Job rotation and relief of other team members.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
