Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a Coater Operator in Erlanger, KY to load, test and operate the Spartanic Punch in the KEM department, ensuring deck integrity and proper registration. Responsibilities include loading sheets, performing inspections, maintaining documentation, and following 5S standards.

2–5 years of machine operation and a high school diploma are required. This full-time role supports production of playing cards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience.
• Prior printing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean and troubleshoot the KEM punch.
• Conduct deck integrity inspections.
• Load KEM sheets in the punch.
• Inspect sheets as they exit the machine for proper registration.
• Operate the machine controls in accordance with operating instructions.
• Update maintenance and management of any machine or department abnormalities.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards.
• Complete production logs and perform system documentation.
• Review with lead person work to be performed.
• Comply with documentation such as the follower and schedule.
• All duties assigned by KEM Lead and management.
