Responsibilities

1. Abide by all safety and work rules.
2. Review previous shift operations, problems, status, orders, and instructions with the prior coater helper.
3. Ensure accurate coating footage according to schedule.
4. Check and adjust solids of adhesive before and during batches.
5. Inspect film for corona treatment and defects.
6. Report defects to supervisor.
7. Check coating weights and prepare pre-mixes as needed.
8. Measure and add catalysts accurately.
9. Prepare for changeovers to minimize downtime.
10. Complete all required paperwork.
11. Review shift operations with the incoming operator.
12. Maintain equipment and report damages.
13. Empty trash at shift end.
14. Notify supervisor of any order completion issues.
15. Keep work area clean and safe.
16. Assist colleagues as necessary.
17. Follow work instructions and perform additional tasks as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Adherence to safety and work rules.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and endure elevated temperatures.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts, cranes, and hand tools.

Compensation

The hourly pay range is estimated between $18 to $23, based on experience and competencies. This does not include benefits.
