IRIS is a multidisciplinary research group at UGA, focusing on natural and conventional infrastructure to create resilient, equitable communities. We work across disciplines including engineering, ecology, landscape architecture, geography, anthropology, economics, and policy/law. Our goal is to enhance infrastructure by integrating natural systems like forests, shorelines, and marshes.
