Job summary

Elite Transportation is seeking a Regional Transportation Manager to oversee logistics and operations for Rider and Member trips to and from Day Centers and medical appointments in the Upstate of South Carolina. You will lead transportation teams and ensure seamless, on-time scheduling.

This role requires a strong background in transportation dispatch, a clean driving record, and the ability to coordinate across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation/logistics management.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass DOT physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with older adults or specialized care needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle and driver compliance over all locations in your region.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance in your region; approve PTO for dispatchers and fill in when absent.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Arrange and oversee MODIVCARE Will Call trips with required compliance.
• Validate and approve trips while monitoring staff time worked daily.
• Finalize timecards weekly and communicate PTO and training hours to payroll.
• Host weekly transportation operations calls and provide feedback.
• Address Rider complaints in alignment with MODIVCARE requirements and gather documentation.
• Log and report vehicle maintenance concerns, coordinating with mechanics as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including early mornings, late evenings, and every other Saturday dispatching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all vehicle maintenance in your region Approve PTO for dispatchers and fill in when they are absent
• Ensure that dispatchers are Coordinating and managing daily transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous transportation dispatch experience (preferred), especially in medical or senior transportation.
• Clean driving record (required).
