Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient team. You will provide longitudinal, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary environment across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Qualifications

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions across a diverse patient population.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized preventive and chronic care plans.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory studies and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments per guidelines.
• Coordinate transitions of care, including hospital follow-up and post-discharge management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, longitudinal, patient-centered outpatient care.
• Collaborate with an extensive multidisciplinary team.
• Manage a typical patient volume while delivering high-quality care.
• Utilize internal referral systems to Coordinate specialist input when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow-up plans.
• Support continuous improvement and care coordination across the network.
