Job summary

MaineHealth Pen Bay & Waldo Hospitals in beautiful coastal Maine seek an Otolaryngologist to join its regional team. The role offers a mix of outpatient and OR time, treating patients for hearing loss, balance disorders, snoring and sleep apnea from children to adults.

The Otolaryngologists work with the Audiology team to provide comprehensive care, including tonsil/adenoidectomy for pediatric sleep apnea, sinus surgery, and management of ear disorders.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certification/Eligibility
• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• EMR Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat hearing loss, balance disorders, snoring and sleep apnea from children to adults.
• Mix of outpatient and OR time; see patients in the office and perform surgery as needed.
• Collaborate with the Audiology team to treat coastal community patients.
• Provide ENT services including sinus and ear disease management.

Education
