Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Newport News, VA is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join a 3-physician practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

We cover a 22-bed Level 3 NICU with ADC 14 and a newborn nursery, offering in-house coverage with 2 weeks on, 1 week off and NNP night coverage. The team uses jet ventilation, HFJV, INO and whole-body cooling, with teaching opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Neonatologist required.
• Experience in Level 3 NICU preferred.
• Willing to mentor residents and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for 22-bed Level 3 NICU and newborn nursery.
• In-house coverage with 2 weeks on, 1 week off, with NNP night coverage.
• Educate Family Practice, OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
