Job summary

COA Network Inc., a national 100% employee-owned science and engineering consulting firm, seeks an experienced Coastal Engineer to support waterfront, coastal, marine infrastructure, and dredging projects across Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil infrastructure consulting, hands-on coastal or marine engineering expertise, strong construction oversight, and an EIT certification with or ability to obtain a California PE license within 24

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal, Marine, Ocean Engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering consulting experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on construction oversight or field services experience.
• EIT certification required.
• California PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Travel locally ~50% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support coastal, waterfront, marine infrastructure, and dredging projects in Northern California.
• Perform coastal engineering analyses, including wave and structural calculations.
• Develop and review drawings, specs, reports, and construction documents.
• Provide technical oversight during construction and respond to RFIs.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting.
• Attend field visits and monitor project progress on-site.
