Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the School's ESPORTS Team.
  • Develop and train student-athletes to compete in electronic gaming.
  • Instruct and guide student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for success.
  • Guide student-athletes to develop moral values, pride, social behavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
  • Foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
  • Coordinate with the School Athletic Director and District Athletic Department as needed.
  • Meet all requirements mandated by the District Board of Education, OHSAA, and ODE, including Coaches Tool Chest (CTC) Training/Certification.
  • Check academic eligibility for prospective student-athletes.
  • Follow District Athletic Department Policies and meet all criteria outlined in the job description.
  • Model expected behavior, including punctuality, positivity, respect, and constructive criticism.
  • Maintain appropriate sideline conduct and language.
  • Implement all applicable administrative policies.
  • Follow due process procedures for violations.
  • Prepare teams adequately for opponents.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Fundraising experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Passion and dedication to inspire student-athletes.
  • Previous coaching experience required.
  • Serve as a role model.
  • Knowledge and skills related to the sport.
Training/Certifications
  • Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred.
  • Satisfactory results from Police Records Check, BCII Check, and Background Check.
  • Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Activity Permit (PAP).
  • Completion of Coaches Tool Chest (CTC) Training/Certification.
Contract Provisions

Type of Contract: Supplemental Annual Limited

Salary: Per Schedule E Contract of current C.F.T Labor Agreement

Reports To: School Principal
