Overview

The Fullerton Joint Union High School District recognizes that extra‑curricular activities are an important component of the education experience for students. Candidates recommended for classified walk‑on coaching or co‑curricular assignments must complete the following items before coaching duties can begin.

Requirements

• Obtain fingerprint clearance and submit a Live Scan form.
• Submit a negative Mantoux TB test taken within the last sixty (60) days (valid for up to two years if obtained from another district).
• Provide two forms of personal identification (e.g., Social Security Card and California Driver’s License, California I.D. Card, or Passport). Present originals when turning in paperwork.
• Present proof of current infant, child, and adult First Aid/CPR/AED, Title V Certification, and CIF‑NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certifications (Heat, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, Cheer/Dance and Water Safety certificates where applicable).
• Coaching candidates must follow the Human Resources hiring process, after which the Assistant Principal will contact you to begin assignment. No assignment may begin prior to receiving approval from the school AP/SA.
