Job summary

Vernon Public Schools seeks a part-time Varsity Golf Coach for Rockville High School. The coach leads practices, motivates students, and teaches golf techniques and game strategy. Attendance at all practices, matches, and events is required.

CT Coaching Certification and First aid/CPR Certification are required. The season stipend is awarded to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Duties require CT coaching certification.
• First aid/CPR certification required.
• Experience in coaching and organizing athletic programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run golf practices for varsity team.
• Instruct athletes in golf techniques, game strategy and rules.
• Attend all practices, matches and team events.

Stipend and Benefits

The stipend amount for the season is $5,312, paid at mid-season and end of season. There are no benefits associated with this part-time position.
