Job summary

Industrious U-District in Seattle is seeking a part-time fitness coach to lead 50-minute strength and conditioning sessions and inspire members daily. You will greet attendees, answer inquiries, and provide tours to prospective clients while keeping energy high and interactions friendly.

Responsibilities include leading classes, using sales software for memberships, assisting with InBody testing, and maintaining a clean, organized facility.

Qualifications

• CPR & AED must be obtained within 60 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead group classes with instruction on safe movement and corrections.
• Greet athletes and drop-ins warmly.
• Answer membership inquiries and assist with adjustments.
• Give tours of Industrious to potential clients.
• Operate membership sales software and manage profiles.
• Assist with InBody 270 testing and results analysis.
• Maintain facility standards: stock retail, clean restrooms, etc.
• Attend team meetings.

Duties

• Warmly greet and send off athletes and drop-ins with a smile.
• Assist with membership inquiries, questions, and adjustments.
• Give a professional, detailed, and informative tour of Industrious to potential clients.
• Lead group classes and provide instruction on safe and proper movement, correcting movement when necessary.
• Create a fun, energetic, and inspiring athlete experience and environment!
• Operate membership sales software efficiently and effectively: create athlete profiles, set up and adjust memberships, etc.
• Complete InBody 270 certification. Assist members in testing and results analysis.
• Help uphold facility standards: stock retail, clean and stock restrooms/showers, vacuum and mop floors, etc.
• Attend team meetings.

Education And Experience

• High school level education or higher
• 1-2 years customer service (preferred)
• 2+ years fitness experience
• Previous coaching experience of any sort is a plus

Compensation

• Starting at $20/hour
• Higher compensation considered based on experience and certifications
