Responsibilities include adhering to route schedules, assisting passengers, collecting fares, and following traffic laws. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record and a California Commercial Driver License with passenger endorsement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 with a clean, current DMV driving record.
• Ability to pass state-mandated physical performance tests.
• Ability to work variable hours, shifts, and locations.
• Willingness to complete OCTA’s Student Coach Operator Training Program.
• California Commercial Driver License (Class A or B) with passenger endorsement, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor coach and adhere to route schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service, including assisting passengers and those with disabilities.
• Collect fares, issue transfers, and make stop/transfer announcements.
