Woodgrain is seeking a Maintenance Coach to lead daily maintenance operations supporting production equipment and facility systems. You will drive reliability, safety, quality, and cost performance while building a high‑performing team.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced mechanical/electrical knowledge, and hands‑on troubleshooting in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Compliance with OSHA and safe practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in high-volume environments.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations to support production equipment and facility systems.
• Drive equipment reliability, safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Schedule and manage preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Develop and mentor maintenance technicians and mechanics.

The Maintenance Coach is responsible for leading daily maintenance operations that support production equipment, powered industrial equipment, and facility systems within the Door Shops operation. This role drives equipment reliability, safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance through effective maintenance execution while developing a high-performing team. The Maintenance Coach ensures optimal staffing, equipment uptime, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics
• Schedule, prioritize, and assign preventive and reactive maintenance activities
• Manage labor and maintenance resources to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Drive equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and develop improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety

• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements
• Manage maintenance parts inventory and coordinate contractor support as needed
