Job summary

Vernon Public Schools is seeking a Coach-Freshmen Boys Basketball at Rockville High School. You will assist the head coach with the operation and organization of the freshmen basketball program and help conduct practices.

You will motivate students, instruct student-athletes in game strategies, and support JV and Varsity games. CT Coaching Certification and First aid/CPR Certification are required; posting is open until filled; part-time stipend, with no benefits.

Qualifications

• CT Coaching Certification & First aid/CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with operation and organization of the boys' basketball program at Rockville High School.
• Assist during practices, motivate students, and instruct student-athletes in game strategies and techniques.
• Serve as the freshmen coach for all practices and games.
