Assistant Wrestling Coach - 0.5 FTE - West Linn High School

Position Dates 11/14/26 - End of Season

Position Summary:
Quality teacher and coach in developing skills and strategies of competitive high school wrestling. A coach who values the education-based philosophy in actions and and behavior. One who is willing to collaborate with coaching staff and other staff members of the school.
Work with the head coach in developing skills, techniques, and strategies for competitive wrestling;
monitor student development and academic progress.
Expectations include valuing education-based athletic programs and the willingness to collaborate with staff members and effectively promote an overall quality athletic program for our student-athletes and community.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Prior HS coaching experience (preferred but not required)
• College playing experience (preferred but not required)
• Dedication to the positive development of the person as well as the player
• Excellent communication skills
• Be dependable, organized, punctual
• Availability to commit to evening schedule 5 days a week during the season

The coach shall have completed the annual online required trainings as well as other West Linn-Wilsonville employment requirements
