Assistant Dance Coach - 0.5 FTE - Wilsonville High School

The start date is 8/18/2025.

Description:

Seeking a quality teacher with experience in developing dance techniques and choreography, with an emphasis on building a competitive team. The candidate should be willing to work collaboratively with staff and with participants as student-athletes.

Responsibilities include working with the head coach to develop skills, techniques, and strategies for competitive dance, as well as monitoring student development and academic progress.

Valuing education-based athletic programs and collaborating with staff to promote a high-quality athletic program for our student-athletes and community.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Prior high school coaching experience (preferred but not required)
• College playing experience (preferred but not required)
• Dedication to the positive development of individuals and players
• Excellent communication skills
• Dependability, organization, punctuality

Must meet and complete certifications and adhere to school and district policies, including annual online trainings and other employment requirements of West Linn-Wilsonville.
