Candidates should have coaching or playing experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to CVCA’s values. Evening and weekend availability may be required as part of responsibilities and local travel for games

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry that is dedicated to “Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ”. Job Summary

This position has responsibility for supporting CVCA’s athletic programs in accordance with the OHSAA and our athletic mission to Build Christ-like Character as Ambassadors for Christ through Competitive Excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Train, disciple, and encourage student-athletes to perform athletically to the maximum of his or her potential to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
• Communicate the mission of the program
• Integrate the program into the school community
• Supervise practice and manage games
• Support student-athlete success in all areas of the student experience
• Other duties as assigned
