Job summary

NuCO2 is seeking an Installation Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing for CO2 beverage gas systems on established routes in the Lemont, IL area. The role emphasizes safety, vehicle upkeep, and accurate handling of equipment.

You will work on mostly local runs, with on-the-job training and uniforms provided, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. A CDL is preferred, and a valid driver’s license for at least 24 months is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a technician or similar role.
• CDL preferred; valid US driver’s license for at least 24 months; tanker with hazmat endorsement may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 400 pounds.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen required.
• Clean driving record (no accidents or moving violations in last 24 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing for beverage gas systems and CO2 hi‑pressure cylinders.
• Maintain service vehicle, tool inventory, and parts inventory; keep vehicle in good condition.
• Use handheld device for routing and customer information; communicate with depot management.
• Load, transport, and unload equipment safely and accurately.
• Conduct local route service and on-site installations to assigned customers.
