Job description

Role Mission: IDEA Co-Teachers learn instructional strategies and develop their teaching skills to provide highly effective instruction to IDEA students. They implement the Direct Instruction Curriculum (DI) and are responsible for student instruction under the guidance of an IDEA teacher and assistant principal of instruction. DI co-teachers use clear instruction and teach to mastery, ensuring students grasp content before moving on. Groups are organized by level, allowing students to learn at their own pace.

What We Offer

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $16.00 for 0 years of experience and $22.50
• Paid over a 12-month period

• Conduct tutoring sessions as needed
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and school functions
• Work at least 40 hours weekly at school
• Additional duties may include after-school or Saturday tutoring
