Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a caring Co-teacher to support 16 children ages 2–5 in a classroom with a 1:8 ratio. You will help plan lessons, engage with children meaningfully, manage the classroom, and communicate with families to foster a safe, happy learning environment.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. Experience is welcome but not mandatory. Preferred credentials include CDA or degrees in early childhood education and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

About This Role

A co‑teacher is responsible for the care and well‑being of 16 children ages 2‑5. Co‑teachers are paired with another co‑teacher, making our highest ratio 1:8.

What You’ll Do

A co‑teacher is responsible for lesson planning, conducting meaningful interactions with the children, classroom management, keeping a tidy classroom, communicating with families, ensuring the safety of all children, and helping to create a positive and happy environment.
