Job description

Co-Response Clinical Supervisor, Greenfield

CSO is looking for a Co-Response Clinician for our Emergency Services Team to support Greenfield and surrounding towns.

The Co-Response Clinician sits at the Greenfield Police Department and responds with law enforcement to 911 calls by providing urgent evaluation, crisis assessment and intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency.

As a Co-Response Clinician:
You Will:
  1. Actively participate in 911 and emergency calls at the direction/request of partnering police departments
  2. Provide behavioral health assessments to individuals and families in crisis who encounter the police
  3. Provide initial crisis intervention services to individuals in need, along with crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial intervention, when appropriate
  4. Provide leadership in development of co-response model and represent the program in a prepared and professional manner at community events, task forces, and public speaking engagements
  5. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems; provide other clinicians with managed care information and resources pertinent to the crises being managed
Your Background:
Qualifications:
  1. Clinical Master's degree (required)
  2. Clinical license or license eligibility as well as clinical experience is preferred
  3. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
