Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD, seeks a Fall Co-Op—Software Engineer (Sea Systems) to join a multidisciplinary team on next-generation defense platforms. You'll participate in software development across the design lifecycle, from concept to lab integration, with exposure to embedded controls, operator interfaces, and mobile apps while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

The role requires pursuing a BS in CS/CE/CIS/MIS and knowledge of C/C++, C#, Python, or Java; U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field such as CS, CE, CIS, or MIS.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Python, and/or Java.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week during the summer with a 5/8, 4/10 schedule and alternating Fridays off.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
