Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD, seeks new graduates to join our Sea Systems team to develop autonomous surface vehicle technologies. You will design, simulate, build, and test subsystems for unmanned platforms, collaborating with engineers and program managers to advance disruptive autonomy capabilities.

The role involves hands-on test planning, execution, and reporting, with frequent interaction with government and commercial customers, and travel up to 25% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (software, mechanical, electrical, systems) or related field.
• Experience with Windows and/or Unix operating systems is a plus.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required (per posting).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and execution of tests for products (hardware, software, systems) to ensure quality, functionality, and reliability.
• Test Planning & Design: define scope, objectives, resources, and procedures.
• Test Case Development: write test cases and scripts for various tests.
• Test Execution: run tests and manage controlled testing environments.
• Defect Management: identify, report, and track defects.
• Collaboration with developers, engineers, and management to provide insights and ensure quality.
