Biogen is offering a 6-month co-op in the Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (CPP) team. The role focuses on quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP), AI/ML, and MBMA to inform drug development decisions within autoimmune programs.

The co-op provides hands-on exposure to cutting-edge modeling approaches and direct portfolio impact, with opportunities to contribute to posters and manuscripts. Start Jan 2027; resume review begins Oct 2026.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. candidate with quantitative, computational, or mechanistic modeling experience.
• Experience applying mathematical or systems biology models to biology questions.
• Familiar with AI/ML methods to enhance modeling workflows and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanistic QSP models to support drug discovery and development.
• Explore AI/ML approaches to speed up QSP workflows.
• Perform MBMA to inform portfolio strategy and decisions.
• Integrate preclinical and clinical data for model development and decisions.
• Learn industry data handling and modeling rules.
• Prepare internal progress presentations and external publications when applicable.
