Messer Construction Co. is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op to join our team in Cincinnati.

This role supports project site operations and collaborates with the site Project Manager and Project Engineer to manage administration and execution of construction projects. The position emphasizes site layout, document control, quality control, and field production analysis, with exposure to scheduling, cost reporting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree required. Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a focus on construction processes/industry/delivery methods preferred.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist the site Project Manager and Project Engineer in management and administration of the project.
• Support site with site layout, document control, quality control, and field production analysis.
• Input project controls data such as scheduling and cost reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors and work force; manage shop drawing/submittal control.
• Expedite materials and equipment; support subcontractor/supplier solicitation.
