How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Delta Air Lines’ Operations & Customer Center (OCC) is seeking qualified co-op students, available for a minimum of 3 alternating work terms (Fall 2025, Summer 2026, and Spring 2027).

OCC Co-Ops will be assigned to one of the teams supporting Delta’s 24/7 operation. The OCC is the "heartbeat" and nerve center of Delta’s worldwide operations, responsible for tactical and strategic decision-making during operational disruptions. Co-ops will collaborate with aviation professionals, using data to solve operational challenges.

Teams you may join:
  • Air Traffic Management – This team oversees Delta’s relationship with the FAA and Air Traffic Control, focusing on data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and mitigate delays.
  • Operations Management – Responsible for daily operations, including aircraft and crew scheduling; co-ops assist in creating applications and identifying efficiencies.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in fields like Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or similar.
  • Available to work three alternating semesters: Fall 2025, Summer 2026, Spring 2027, in Atlanta, GA, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
  • Must be enrolled throughout the co-op duration and be at least 18 years old with authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, collaborate, and prioritize safety and diversity.
