Job summary

You will conduct experiments, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and maintain lab equipment, while pursuing a BS/MS in engineering. Onsite work and safety practices are emphasized throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, etc).
• Hands-on lab experience and ability to set up/test protocols with safety in mind.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and general engineering tools; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, assembly, and testing of cryogenic systems and superconducting magnets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in cryogenic/superconducting systems.
• Collaborate with engineers/scientists to develop and implement design solutions.
• Conduct experiments/tests to evaluate prototype performance and reliability.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
