We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Latham, NY.**Your role:*** Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of cryogenic systems and superconducting magnets.* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to cryogenic and superconducting systems.* Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and implement design solutions.* Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototypes.* Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.**You're** **the right fit if:*** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other engineering* Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, setting up and executing test protocols. Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in a lab environment* Experience with 3D modeling and other engineering tools.
