Job summary

E Ink Corporation is seeking a hands-on Co-op to join the Product Development team, contributing to the design of mechanical parts and basic automation software for innovative ePaper projects. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge display tech and collaboration with a team behind renowned devices like the Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite.

The position requires 2+ years of BS education in relevant engineering disciplines, a 3.0+ GPA, and skills in mechanical design tools (AutoCad,

Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Macromolecular Science or Polymer Science & Engineering.
GPA of 3.0 or higher REQUIRED.
Experience with mechanical design tools such as AutoCad or Solidworks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Product Development team to design new mechanical parts and systems for innovative processes.
Develop basic software programs for automation control, data analysis and workflow optimization.
Characterize ePaper display materials using physical and chemical techniques.
Design test samples and experiments for systematic, controlled studies.
Perform hands-on lab work to execute experimental plans and collect data reliably and efficiently.
Analyze results and present summaries and conclusions to the team.
