Qualifications

• 2+ years education in BS program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Macromolecular or Polymer Science & Engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher REQUIRED
• Mechanical design tools such as AutoCad and Solidworks
• Foundations in physics and chemistry
• Curiosity and aptitude for in-depth technical exploration
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Good organization skills and capacity to manage own schedule
• Mechanical engineering with minor in computer science preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Development to design mechanical parts and systems.
• Develop basic software programs for automation control, data analysis and workflow optimization.
• Characterize ePaper display materials using physical and chemical techniques.
• Design test samples and experiments for systematic, controlled studies.
• Perform hands-on lab work to execute experimental plans and collect data reliably and efficiently.
• Analyze results and present summaries and conclusions to the team
